Welcome to Petrie Terrace State School

Petrie Terrace State School is a small inner-city primary school located in Paddington, near the Brisbane CBD.  We take a holistic view of individuals, embedding quality literacy and numeracy standards into learning for all students. We believe that every student, every day, within every classroom has the ability to reach their full potential.

We strive to achieve teaching and learning excellence and the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, recognising and celebrating the diversity of our community.  We are proud of the achievements of our students, excellent teachers, supportive parents,  quality curriculum, gifted and talented programs, inclusionary philosophies, music programs, eLearning ways of working and Peer Support led Kitchen Garden Program.
